Radial Tires

These types of tires have steel belts (cord plies) that run at a 90-degree angle to the direction your vehicle is traveling. The radial-ply belt construction is what gives radial sidewalls that slightly bulging look. You can expect a radial tire to last upwards of 40,000 miles. They’re usually more expensive than bias tires.
