Consumers sometimes complain about the quality of brand-new RVs, after encountering missing screws, faulty appliances, and more. Jayco is looking to change this perception by adding a pre-delivery inspection to all new units. The move affects several brands under the Jayco umbrella, including Entegra Coach, Starcraft RV, and Highland Ridge RV, as well as Jayco towables and motorhomes. A new 70,000-square-foot facility was built in Middlebury, Indiana, to accommodate the process, which involves numerous audits and quality checks. The goal is to improve buyer and dealer satisfaction, as well as reduce wait times for warranty repairs.
