Here’s Where You Can Book Same-Day Reservations in Oregon

In an effort to make campground reservations more flexible, Oregon’s state park system is testing same-day reservations at 17 campgrounds along the coast. The previous reservation policy required campers to book sites at least 24 hours in advance, making it difficult for guests to snag cancellations or reserve last-minute sites. Tent and RV campers can now make reservations any time, but cabins, yurts, and other accommodations need to be reserved by 6 p.m. on the day of check-in.

Currently available in Australia for around $50,000, it’s unclear when (or if) the Earth Camper will come to the U.S.

State parks in these locations recently opened campground and cabin reservations to accommodate the influx of visitors. Allegany, Fair Haven Beach, Letchworth, Evangola, Four Mile Creek, Golden Hill, and Wellesley Island state parks will offer a combined 335 campsites for early reservations from April 4 to 8 in 2024.
