KOA Announces Premium Campsite Plans
Kampgrounds of America (KOA) will soon offer campers premium campsite options that include additional space, upgraded landscaping, covered seating areas, and more. A recent study by the company found that nearly 70 percent of campers suggested they’d stay in a premium, high-end campsite for an elevated camping experience. Other Signature Site features could include EV capabilities, leash-free areas for pets, and on-site recreation opportunities. KOA plans to offer 50 Signature Sites throughout the U.S. and Canada by 2025.

RV manufacturer inTech announced its redesigned Flyer travel trailer series. The brand’s original RV lineup now offers four models: Chase, Pursue, Discover, and Explore. The ultra-lightweight Chase and Pursue models can be towed with smaller SUVs and even some sedans (if properly equipped). You can also opt-in for an add-a-room tent to increase the sleeping capacity from two to five people. The larger Explore and Discover models can be configured with tip-outs that make room for cargo space, giving campers the ability to haul an ATV, bikes, kayaks, and other camping gear.

Looking for a national park with epic hiking trails? KURU, a Utah-based shoe company, ranked every national park in the U.S. by its total number of trails, average trail rating, trail distances, park size, and the number of annual visitors to determine which parks are superior when it comes to hiking. Yosemite, Great Smoky Mountains, and Yellowstone national parks took the top three spots, with Great Smoky Mountains offering the most trails of any park within the National Park Service (NPS). The Gateway Arch National Park in St. Louis ranked last for its single, 2-mile trail.
