Results show that nearly 40 percent of respondents say camping provides mental health relief. Another surprising statistic is that more people (36 percent) plan to go camping with their pets rather than their children (29 percent) or their parents (5 percent), but only 1 percent will be taking along a cat. Who’s the top choice for a camping companion? More than 70 percent of respondents prefer to travel with their romantic partners.Read more from Woodall’s Campground Magazine
