Hoping to RV in Canada This Fall? Think Again
U.S.-based RVers will not be able to take a vacation in Canada through October 21, 2020, if not longer. The U.S.-Canada border has been closed since March to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The original closure was supposed to expire this week, but officials decided to extend it through October and will continue to make extensions, as needed, on a month-to-month basis. Many expect the closure to remain in place past the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Essential travel (for commerce, employment, or medical reasons) is allowed, and close family members may visit if they agree to a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

Bring Fido to These U.S. Campgrounds with Canine Amenities
For many, pets are part of the family and RVing is a great way to vacation with Fido. However, sometimes it can be difficult to find a campground with amenities for your pet. More campgrounds are making a point of catering to their pet-loving clientele. 4 Paws Kingdom in North Carolina is the nation’s first campground built exclusively with dogs in mind. Let your pup swim in the pond, explore the multiple dog parks, and get pampered in the salon. You can find other campgrounds with special amenities and pet-friendly policies on this list of dog-friendly campgrounds from Travel + Leisure.
