Bordered by three of the Great Lakes, Michigan is an epic destination for RVers seeking outdoor recreation, natural beauty, and charming towns. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a major highlight that should be a stop on any RV trip through Michigan. To get a new perspective on the landscape from the water, head to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore—its colorful cliffs are best seen while kayaking. The award for Michigan’s prettiest city would likely go to Mackinaw City, renowned for its Victorian architecture and turn-of-the-century character. German Restaurants Offer Candlelit Dinners for RVers

The COVID-19 pandemic has led many restaurants to get creative, like this new trend that’s taking hold in Germany. Some hotels and restaurants, like the Butjadinger Tor in Nordenham and the Ringhotel-Park Hotel in Witten, offer fine dining meals delivered to RVs, complete with candlelight and other ambient features for a romantic touch. Diners place their order, park their rig in the restaurant’s lot, and wait for the meal to arrive. The best part? No dishes to clean. After enjoying a scrumptious meal, diners alert the restaurant, which sends staff out to retrieve the dishes. Do you think this trend would work in the U.S.?
