10 RVs Ideal for Couples
From vans to motorhomes, RVs of all types and configurations offer appealing layouts and amenities for couples. Togo RV rounds up 10 great options. Class B RVs, like the Winnebago Revel 44E or the Pleasure-Way Tofino, are perfect for couples who prioritize nimbleness. For more room, consider a class C, like the Jayco Redhawk 22J—the cab-over bunk provides extra sleep space for guests. Class As are a popular choice for full-timing couples, and Newmar’s Bay Star Sport 3014 is a luxurious option. Making the Perfect Cup of Joe on the Road
Coffee is a morning essential for many, but preparing it in your RV provides some challenges. French presses, Aero presses, and pour-over cones offer great flavor and require less space than an espresso maker. While you might normally associate steeping with tea, steeping coffee can be an easy option for RVers, too. Or, keep it traditional with a small countertop coffee maker. Togo RV’s guide to making the perfect cup of coffee in your RV shares these methods, plus all the gear you’ll need.

Explore National Parks at Your Fingertips with the New NPS App
With the new NPS app, you can find nearby national parks based on your location, search for park activities, download information for offline use, find guided audio tours, book campgrounds, search for nearby food, get up-to-date visitor information, track NPS units you’ve visited, and more. You can download the app for free on Apple and Google Play. While there are impressive plans for the app, it’s currently in beta mode as development continues. Currently, you have to download separate apps for individual parks. As NPS sites add more content to the unified app, expect features and information to become more robust.

NPS Honors Black History Month
As Black History Month comes to a close, take a look at some lesser-known African-American Heritage National Park Service sites. The Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor tells the story of enslaved Africans brought to the lower Atlantic Coast, where their language and traditions were well preserved due to isolation. Visit the oldest Black settlement west of the Mississippi at the Nicodemus National Historic Park, which includes the remnants of a small town from the 1870s. The NPS shares a wealth of stories and history on a page dedicated to Black History Month so you can learn more about these significant places and plan your trip to visit.

Planning RV Road Trips This Year? Keep an Eye on Gas Prices
Though demand for gasoline is currently low, prices are rising and recently topped 2020’s highest recorded price. The cost of crude oil has increased as inventories decrease, without a comparable rise in production. Cold and winter precipitation are interrupting work at oil refineries across the Southwest. If production is limited as gasoline demand returns to normal levels, prices could continue to go up. However, the COVID-19 pandemic may continue to lower demand, which will stabilize prices as production returns to normal.
